It started with a tour guide
In 2015, I visited Tonga and discovered a hidden gem. From swimming in cave pools to exploring ancient sites, I experienced the best the islands had to offer - and when I learned I could swim with humpback whales, I was truly captivated.
My guide that trip was a local legend named Robbie. Neither of us knew it yet, but that tour was the start of something much bigger than a holiday.

Why the Troupe exists
The following year, I brought a group of friends back to swim with the whales - and I couldn't believe how hard it was to book. Half the information online was out of date, schedules were a mystery - and I've been a travel agent for 19+ years, so I'm a pretty savvy booker! I kept thinking: how many people give up on Tonga before they even get here?
I didn't want them to miss out. So Tonga Travel Troupe was born - with a simple mission: share the beauty of Tonga, and connect adventurous travellers with the very best local operators.
